Construction sites: brochure which contains information on regulations, documentation, organization
Available for construction sites a booklet which contains information on the technical and regulatory documentation, management and organization of the site, the type of processing, caps, equipment and electrical installations.
With the goal of providing professionals and companies in the construction sector detailed information on the application of the rules on the protection of health and safety on construction sites and updated to the changes introduced by Legislative Decree, 106/2009, has been realized " Notebook safety on construction sites. "
This brochure, produced in collaboration by the OU Prevention and Safety in the workplace AUSL of Imola and the Group Provincial Building in the Province of Bologna, "is an important tool for all workers and employees of construction companies and all professionals who deal with the safety sites ".
In fact, inside you can find the information, prescription regulations (together with the related penalties) on the documentation, management and organization of the site, the type of processing, caps, equipment and electrical installations.
The document can then be used by supervisors, business professionals and safety coordinators, such as technical and regulatory point of reference in order of the concrete on construction sites.
To illustrate the operation of the paper we report some brief excerpts relating to two different themes.
With regard to the duties and responsibilities of self-employed and family businesses:
- "The self-employed must implement the provisions of the safety plan and coordination and operational safety plan (Article 100, paragraph 3, of Legislative Decree 81/08)" sanction: the self-employed are punished with imprisonment up to three months or a fine of from 400 to 1,600 Euros (Art.
160, c1.a);
- "Self-employed persons and members of family businesses must use work equipment in accordance with the provisions of Title III (Article 21, paragraph 1, letter a of Legislative Decree 81/08)" sanction "the self-employed are punished by imprisonment of up to one month or a fine of from 200 to 600 euro (Article 60 c1.a) ";
- "Self-employed persons and members of family businesses should put didispositivi personal protective equipment and must use them in accordance with the provisions of Title III (Article 21, paragraph 1, letter b, of Legislative Decree 81/08), the self-employed are punished by imprisonment of up to one month or a fine of from 200 to 600 euro (Article 60 c1.a) I;
- The self-employed must comply with the information provided by the coordinator for the execution of the work, for security purposes (Article 94, paragraph 1, of Legislative Decree 81/08), the self-employed are punished with imprisonment for up to a month or a fine of from 500 to 2,000 Euros (Art.
160, c1.b);
- The self-employed and members of family businesses that maintain their performance on the construction site must obtain a special identification card bearing a photograph, containing the personal particulars (Article 21, paragraph 1, letter c, of Legislative Decree 81/08); the self-employed are punished with a fine of from 50 to 300 euro (Article 60 c1.b);
- Self-employed workers who are directly engaged in its activities on the construction site must display a special identification card bearing a photograph, containing the personal particulars (Article 20, paragraph 3, of Legislative Decree 81/08), the self-employed are punished with fine of from 50 to 300 euro (Article 60, c2) ".
With regards to the collective protection and in particular the cantilever bridges indicates that:
- "In cases where special needs do not allow the use of normal bridges, cantilever bridges may be permitted provided that their construction meets appropriate calculation procedures and ensure their soundness and stability (Article 127 of Legislative Decree 81 / 08), the employer and the manager shall be punished by imprisonment from two to four months or a fine of from 1,000 to 4,800 euro (art. 159, c2.b) ";
- Formwork for the works of the perimeter columns in concrete, "in the absence of scaffolding, shall be secured at floor reached, a regular cantilever bridge safety, having width of at least 1,20 m (art. 129, paragraph 1, of Legislative Decree 81/08), the employer and the manager shall be punished by imprisonment from two to four months or a fine of from 1,000 to 4,800 euro (Article 159, c2.b) ;
- Cantilevered wooden decks must comply with the rules laid down in p.to 2.1.6 of Annex XVIII (Article 122 of Legislative Decree 81/08) The employer and the executive are punished with the ' imprisonment for up to six months or a fine of from 2,500 to 6,400 euro (Article 159, c2.a).
The document also contains the requirements for the bridges cantilever report in Annex XVIII of the Legislative Decree 81/2008.
