Drawing software for Android devices: SketchBook

People used to say: "just a pencil, a sheet immaculate and lots of imagination to create even the biggest dreams ..."

The same Salvador Dali claimed categorically that "the drawing, is nothing but the sincerity of art. There is no possibility of cheating ... "

To me, that are certainly not a great draftsman, having had available, at certain times, a piece of paper to fill, even with a simple "doodle", he meant so much, allowing my imagination to not be harnessed in a modest thought or, still, distracting from moments of absolute tedium.

Several times I happened to need it, but you do not have "on hand" a pencil, a pen, or anything that would leave a mark. If I had the card, I was missing a color, or a table, a chair, in short, something to addossarmi and draw ... All those times, though, I realized that I have in my pocket smartphone, to be full of functionality, inseparable companion, but unable, however, to assist me in what was, at that moment, my urge.

Fortunately, the developers of AutoCad, award-winning vector drawing program for PC, have you thought about how to solve the problem, developing an application that will make the happiness of many "budding designers."

After having passed successfully on the platform "bitten apple", SketchBook, makes its appearance in the universe Android, appearing in two versions: one totally free (SketchBook Express - 7.11 MB), the other for a fee (Sketchbook Mobile - 7.19 MB - 0.76 euro).

If you want my advice, given the chance and given the ridiculously low price, directly downloaded Sketchbook Mobile.

Install and start the application, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent graphical interface and comprehensive features found, offered at a price so content. If we were to give a rating to the quality / price ratio, the choice would be to assign a nice ten full.

The program is entirely based on the same "engine" of the version vector drawing issued for the desktop, and allows users to make use of an extremely wide variety of tools: pencils, pens, brushes, colors, different shades, ink jets, tires for delete, and so on ...

Completed your work, you can save it in different formats (jpg, png, psd, just to name the most common), as well as to expand the ease of sharing with other devices.

Not be necessary to use it, you can well do without, turning your fingers into pencils and markers. However, SketchBook is presented as a tool (almost) professional, certainly the best of its kind on mobile devices and if you want to have optimum performance and high above the norm, it is recommended to use the pen in question, which the tip coated felcro, material capable of being recognized from the screen.

In the market there are different types, but not many. Just do a search online and purchase it directly online, or ask an electronics store / phone (maybe not all of them will be provided, but try not harmful). The price is still a very big his weak point, as has been estimated, on average, around 24 dollars.

In conclusion, the developers have managed to create a functional product at an affordable price. Mind a little 'over-weight application, a handicap for those who can not install applications on SD, although it is a "compromise" quite acceptable, considering that you will have (finally) a click away everything you need to draw at any time and in any place ... or almost!

NOTE: SketchBook (in both versions) only works with Android 2.1 or higher devices.

Recommended the use of devices with a 1GHz processor and 512MB of RAM.
